FAQ

  • Q: What is hemp?
A: Hemp is cannabis with a 0.3% or lower concentration of Delta-9 THC on a dry weight basis. Hemp and its derived cannabinoids are legal on a federal level and in a majority of states.
  • Q: Is hemp legal?
A: Yes, hemp is legal on a federal level and in many states. Its legal definition was set forth to separate it from marijuana.
  • Q: What's the difference between hemp and marijuana?
A: Hemp and marijuana are the same species—cannabis. Their only difference is a legal distinction. Hemp is cannabis with a 0.3% or lower concentration of Delta-9 THC on a dry weight basis. Marijuana is cannabis with any concentration above that.
  • Q: What are the health benefits of CBD, Delta-8, Delta-9, and Select Spectrum?
A: Unfortunately, we are not at liberty to discuss any potential health benefits of hemp-derived cannabinoids or blends (CBD, Delta-8, Delta-9, and Select Spectrum). We encourage our customers to do their own research and consult a medical professional for these types of matters.
  • Q: How old do I have to be to buy Chillax CBD’s products?
A: You must be 21 years of age to purchase anything from our website. This includes our CBD, Delta-8, Delta-9, and Select Spectrum products. We use an age verification system called Bluecheck which can confirm your age. A small number of customers may have to submit their date of birth or pictures of their photo ID to complete their purchase. This could be due to different billing/shipping information, a recent change of address, not using your legal name, or having a new last name through marriage.
  • Q: What is Delta-8?
A: Delta-8 is a form of tetrahydrocannabinol or "THC" that is derived from hemp. It is a cannabinoid known to bring on mild euphoria, relaxation, and a general sense of well-being.
  • Q: Is Delta-8 legal?
A: Because Delta-8 is derived from hemp, it is legal on a federal level and in many states. State laws can vary, and you can always do a quick internet search to see if Delta-8 is available in your state!
  • Q: Where does Delta-8 come from?
A: Our Delta-8 comes from hemp. Our process begins with a CO2 extraction process that separates raw cannabinoids from plant matter. It is from those cannabinoids in which we derive our Delta-8.
  • Q: Would Delta-8 make me fail a drug test?
A: Full panel drug tests or ones specifically trying to detect marijuana detect the chemicals in your body used to break down THC. There isn't much research out there to draw a definite conclusion on failing a drug test because of Delta-8. We highly advise that you avoid any cannabis products if you have a drug test coming up.
  • Q: What is Select Spectrum?
A: Select Spectrum is a hemp-derived cannabidiol blend featuring CBD, Delta-9 THC, and other minor cannabinoids. Each Select Spectrum product features a 1:1 ratio of CBD to Delta-9 THC. The blend was curated for the ideal entourage effect.
  • Q: Is Select Spectrum legal?
A: Our hemp-derived Select Spectrum blend is legal on a federal level and in all 50 states.
  • Q: What is CBD?
A: CBD stands for "cannabidiol," a highly prevalent cannabinoid that can be found in hemp. Unlike Delta-8 THC or Select Spectrum, the effects of CBD are not as pronounced, but for many enthusiasts, it helps take a “slight edge off.”
  • Q: Is CBD legal?
A: CBD from hemp is legal on a federal level, though some states have banned it in certain circumstances. CBD might be illegal in a state, but the Select Spectrum blend is not.
  • Q: Where does CBD come from?
A: CBD is derived from hemp directly through a process called CO2 extraction. This is the same process used to make organic decaf coffee.
  • Q: Would CBD make me fail a drug test?
A: CBD is not THC. However, some CBD products, such as full-spectrum CBD, can contain small amounts of Delta-9 THC. There's no clear-cut answer as to if this small amount can result in a positive drug test. It's always best to avoid cannabis products when you have a drug test coming up.
